Zaky meeting his favorite character....Mickey Mouse. He had all these questions he was going to ask Mickey and so much he wanted to tell him, BUT when it was finally his turn he was so excited he couldn't even talk.

Meladi got to perform with her Jr High Dance Company at a District Spring Festival. I can't believe how amazing they were. Watching them you wouldn't believe they were 7th, 8th and 9th graders.

Zakary turns

My baby, Zakary turned 7 years old on the 22nd. I can't believe how much he has grown and how smart he is.

He got lots of Legos for his birthday, he was so excited!! He wanted Hawaiian Meatballs & Rice for dinner and we decorated his cake with Mickey Mouse faces.

A couple of days later he got to go to Applebee's with Papa & Grandma.

This month we celebrated St Patrick's Day like we always do, making a Leprechaun trap. This year we got to make 2 traps, because Oakley had to take one to school. Needless to say, neither trap caught a Leprechaun, he was still too tricky and quick. But he did leave behind some yummy treats and played some funny tricks.

Time to catch up

It has been a very long time since I have updated the blog. So.....

We have been a busy family:

Ben: Was working 3 jobs for awhile to help us get through Christmas and me going to school. Now he is home every Sunday-Tuesday and we are spending alot of time together. We went to the Temple yesterday and that was really nice. He is still working at he Landfill, I think going on 14 years.

Me: I just graduated from Cameo College with a Nail Technician degree. Ben and the kids helped me set up a nail salon in our home and it has been great! Being able to be home and also do something a love. It's the best of both worlds to quote Hannah Montana. Ben was even nice enough to be one of my models. Check out the picture!

Meladi: Has been super busy this school year with Dance and schoolwork. She has early morning practice every other day. She choregraphed a duet with her friend, that they performed in their winter concert, I couldn'y believe how much she has grown up.

Oakley: LOVES to read! He reads almost as much as I do and I love to see him curled up on the couch reading a book. He has also just started drawing some of his own Star Wars comic strips. They are amazing to see.

Zakary: Man, how he has grown up, He currently has a girlfriend, Kelsey, one of my Young Women. He just adores her and says she is so pretty!! He is going to be a little Casanova I think. He also loves helping me make dinner, his is my little sous chef!
